Simply drag and drop the files you want changed to the ExifTool icon on the Desktop and the value of the Serial Number tag will be changed to 00000.Unzip and save the downloaded executable file in a convenient location like your Desktop and rename it from exiftool(-k).exe to exiftool(-k -serialnumber=0).exe".Download ExifTool from ensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/ Make sure to get the correct version for your operating system.There are at least two ways to change the value of the Serial Number tag: The camera Serial Number is stored in the MakerNotes section of the EXIF metadata and cannot be deleted entirely, but the value can be changed.
